Cape Hatteras National Seashore

My family and I have been visiting the Outer Banks of North Carolina since 1973, so my husband and I decided we would like to volunteer at Cape Hatteras National Seashore so we could spend several months learning more about the beach environment and the sea creatures who live there, as well as Outer Banks history. It was a wonderful experience, especially since we got to spend several hours at the top of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse several days a week. We were so busy that I never finished my watercolor paintings until we returned home.
